Samsung is known for its innovative products and to add to the best samsung cell phone accessories it has released a new battery which can be charged using Water. Samsung uses Electro-Mechanics strategy to charge up the batteries. This battery uses Micro fuel cell and a hydrogen generator which runs with the help of H2O. There is no doubt that this is going to be a hit one among all other samsung cell phone accessories.
When the mobile is switched on the hydrogen generator produces the hydrogen gas and it sends the same to the micro fuel cell. Inside the micro fuel cell a reaction between oxygen and the hydrogen gas takes place resulting in the generation of power. It has been tested and found that this can keep a mobile running for around ten hours but this also depends on the user’s use of their mobile phones.
“When the handset is turned on, metal and water in the phone react to produce hydrogen gas, The gas is then supplied to the fuel cell where it reacts with oxygen in the air to generate power” explained Oh Yong-soo, vice president of Samsung Electro-Mechanics’ research center. “
According to the news available it is predicted that this may hit the market anytime in the 3rd quarter of 2010.
